To me drums are a very expressive instrument, no matter what their function: The driving rhythm in a band, adding color to the music or just keeping simple time. I started playing drums as a creative outlet - it was something I undertook on my own initiative, which I think is the reason why I continued drums rather than any other activities during my teenage years.

Artists who have influenced me are Peter Gabriel, Rush, Frank Zappa, Fishbone, Living Color and PFM. Drummers who have been inspirations are Terry Bozzio, Vinnie Colaiuta, Dennis Chambers, Andy Erickson, John Bonham, Manu Katche, and Neil Peart.

More.ca is definitely a band in which I can express my musical thoughts. In the past I have played many different styles of music. More.ca draws from different styles of music that each member offers from past projects and their personality to create a unique sound. Each member is strong musically allowing the writing process to be very natural. More's music can be aggressive, delicate, straight-forward and at times complex. The music comes from the heart and we've set no boundaries as to where it will take us.
